Director - Design - Retail

Adreso is currently hiring a Design Director - Retail Experience Design for an international architectural design firm based in Mumbai. If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for retail design and the skills to lead dynamic project teams, we await your application.

What we are looking for:

- Minimum 8 years' experience within a retail design environment.

- Bachelor's degree (5 years) in Architecture/Interior Design.

- Expert knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD software programs and experience setting up and working in managed office CAD standards.

- Knowledge of MEP systems and ability to communicate with Clients and Engineers as required.

- Knowledge of coordinating consultants.

- Experience managing and developing specifications, material schedules.

- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

- Proven track record of creatively directing store/space design projects and championing design excellence across the entire studio.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, motivate, and develop project teams.

- Strong analytical skills to analyze complex multi-disciplined briefs and guide the team towards the best creative response.

- Experience in overseeing project strategy and delivery, including leading client workshops and building relationships with senior clients.

- Ability to provide valuable insights from clients' industries to create clever design solutions that enhance their brands.

- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and scoping projects of all sizes to ensure efficient workflow within the studio.

- Proactive planning abilities, with the capability to plan up to 3 months ahead and ensure appropriate resourcing and structures are in place.

- Sound understanding based on practical experience of the design approach to use and time required to ensure profitability.

- Collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams across disciplines to maintain creative quality and project delivery consistency.
