Director - Derivatives Middle Office Operations - Investment Bank

Looking to hire Derivative-Middle office professional for one of the leading Investment Bank

Location : Mumbai

Job Description

- Understand the Fund's strategies, instruments in the portfolio

- Understand the scope of mandate, various deliverables, timing, stakeholders, downstream impact

- Understand various processes like trade capture, reconciliations, valuation, PNL check, allocations, regulatory reporting, investor communication, upstream / downstream flow, risk etc.

- Understand the internal architecture of systems, flow of data, automated and manual processes

- Coordinate with OPS, OTC, Valuations, Fund Accounting, Investor Servicesetc. groups to ensure adherence to SOPs

- Track progress, review open items, assess impact on PNL, ageing of open items

- Report status of defined KPIson a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis (as defined in SLA)

- Inform timely and escalate internally and externally any delay or hindrance anticipated in meeting KPIs

- Assess impact of any information received from client and ensure that it flows through the various teams and desired impact and actioning is followed through

- Track various projects logged in internal systems, get ETA and monitor actioning

- Escalate missing data, missing actioning, prioritization required

- Feedback to various teams for improving accuracy and timeliness

- Drive process improvement and effective communication
