Director - Deal Advisory & Strategy Practice

1. This individual will play a senior leadership role in the Deal Advisory and Strategy practice, within the organization.

2. Build the vision for the organizations Strategy practice

3. Envision and implement structures and processes that facilitate growth (product quality, capabilities, systems)

4. Originates and converts a pipeline of business via detailed plans to increase penetration with onshore teams

5. New product/solution development/thought leadership, in line with the vision for future growth

6. Overall responsibility and accountability for business profitability whilst managing risk Sets-up/facilitate the development and ongoing improvement of quality measures in the team.

7. Lead the design and conduct of new Strategy propositions and other major initiatives.

8. Spends at least 20-30% of time delivering / leading projects with global clients in the identified sectors / propositions, working with onshore teams

9. Provide technical leadership by helping project team create hypothesis, draw structure & plan. Also, provides review bandwidth to other team members on their projects as required

10. Drives best practices to ensure the continued trajectory in integration with global member firms

11. Lead one domain for Deal Advisory.

12. Hands-on strategy and/or operations delivery experience is a must. Further exposure to two or more core strategy propositions is required (strategy propositions may include Market Growth/Entry, Pricing, Commercial Due Diligence, Operational Due Diligence, Operational Strategy including Performance improvement etc.)

13. Strong numerical, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, and sound commercial acumen

14. Exposure to Data Analytics as part of delivering strategy engagements will be a PLUS

15. Proficient with synthesis and messaging

Education:

MBAs, CFAs and Engineers from a leading Indian/International educational institutions

Prior Experience:

12+ years of strategy consulting experience, with required exposure to global clients (US / UK a strong plus). Experience with working with consulting offshoring set-up would be a plus but not a mandatory requirement.
