Director - Data Center, Cloud Operations & IT Infrastructure Management - Our client is a leading Indian banking and financial services company. - We are looking for Head who is accountable for the IT infrastructure / Data Center uptime, performance, capacity, availability and technology obsolescence of the core physical infrastructure.. The Role Must haves : - Partners with CIO to lead the technology infrastructure strategy and execution for the enterprise - Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value - eg. CI/CD, DevOps. Implement DATA CENTER AS A SERVICE, public cloud based metering and DATA CENTRE ON TAP. Certifications in Data Center Management / DevOps / IT Operations - Drive the Bank's Cloud strategy. Excessively focused on Standardization on X86 and extreme virtualization using Suitable Hypervisor and Kubernetes as native on bare metal. - Drive technology transformation in Bank for IT Infrastructure - Compute, Storage and leading strategic initiatives - IaaS (Infra as a Service), Platform as a Service (PaaS), AI/ML and DevOps - Development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process. - Identifying opportunities for consolidation of technology platforms, automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement. - Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners. Work closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationships. - Overall accountability for day to day management of IT Infrastructure (server and storage) - System uptime and SLA (Service Levels Agreement) management, Problem and Change management. Enablement of IT Infrastructure as fully automated, software defined Data Center and offering as a Platform for Enterprise-wide Consumption. Technology management of current data center assets (Server and storage).MIGRATE THE CURRENT DATA CENTRE OPERATIONS AND INFRASTRUCTURE. - Team size of ~ 100 staff and vendor base of more than 100 onsite personnel. Experience Required : - 20-25 years of Relevant IT experience, including 5+ years in a production 24/7 high-availability multi-site enterprise ERP environment, security and information protection. - Experience of leading overall infrastructure for a complex organization and network, including VLAN setup for regulatory requirement, managing data protection, etc. - Working knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) and related technologies, network communications technology, High availability and disaster recovery architecture, communication and related technologies - Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption. - Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security. Educational Qualifications : - Computer Science / IT Engineering graduate - PG in Engineering or Management
