The client is building a world-class Credit Risk & Collections team with the goal of managing credit losses while supporting business growth. We- re looking for a creative, smart, and driven individual to lead our Credit Risk Policy, Credit Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Modeling & Collections team.

The Credit Risk team uses analytics tools to develop strategies that govern automated credit decisions within client's platform. The Sr Manager of Credit Risk at client is expected to have prior experience in the unsecured direct to consumer lending industry and have proven success managing credit policy, credit risk, credit analytics, and collection strategies. The successful candidate is expected to have strong data analytics skills and a passion for solving these challenges in innovative and effective ways. What You Will Do :

- The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills combined with the ability to distill down complex financial concepts into simple narratives. You will have an in-depth understanding of credit, risk, collections and are adept at building and deploying policies, models, and metrics. Lastly, you enjoy building - you enjoy partnering cross-functionally to drive core credit, risk, collection initiatives including risk appetite, portfolio diversification, and risk-based pricing.

- Be a culture carrier and possess an entrepreneurial mindset to successfully drive fraud, credit, risk initiatives including risk appetite, portfolio diversification, collateralization, risk-based pricing

- Risk policy, modeling and reporting experience including articulating risk appetite and limits, building PD/LGD/EAD models, VaR, and credit risk metrics

- Develop credit strategies to improve the credit performance by using data, statistical models and advanced analytics tools to optimize risk decisions

- Build core fraud, credit, risk models including PD/LGD/EAD models, loss distributions, VaR analysis, etc.

- Bring innovative/out of the box thinking to make recommendations and to approaching/solving problems

- Design A/B tests and understand the risk-return trade-offs

- Continue to innovate by testing new data, analytics approaches and models

- Partner with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to implement strategies and monitor the strategy performance

- Conduct ad-hoc analysis related to risk management, investor services, product, and operations

- Analyze portfolio performance at a granular segment level on an ongoing basis. Identify trends and conduct root-cause analysis to isolate key performance drivers. Communicate findings and recommendations to the Risk Management and broader Line community

- Work with legal and compliance team to ensure strategies and policies comply with all the regulatory requirements

What You Will Need to Have :

- Worked at a consumer fintech company(e.g. Navi, Avail Finance, Cred, MoneyTap, PaySense, PayU, Paytm, Lendingkart, Simpl, Loan Tap, FINO, Capital Float etc.) in their Fraud/Credit/Risk teams in a cross-functional role regularly interfacing with the data science and engineering teams.

- Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics.

- 5+ years of relevant experience within credit, risk, collections management, ideally at a high-growth technology and/or financial services company.

- 5+ years of experience managing credit risk and collections in the consumer lending industry.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Outstanding presentation skills

- Strong communication skills - ability to clearly and succinctly communicate technical subject matter to other team members and Senior Management team

- Knowledge and experience of segmentation, statistical procedures, and financial analytic tools are required

- Strong interpersonal skills - collaborate with people across functions and develop strong relationship

- Strong ownership and motivation to drive business result

- People leadership experience preferred

- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality

- Ability to frame business problem independently and design comprehensive analysis to provide insights and make recommendation

- Comfortable and productive to work remotely or work with remote team members/business partners
