- Preparing and monitoring of Credit Risk Policy for M/SME segment
- Creating process notes for the credit underwriting
- Establishing a robust Credit Analytic Framework and formulating a credit risk process for the lending segment.
- Interacting with cross functional teams and driving the credit policy agenda and ensuring correct implementation of credit policy guidelines in origination system and decisioning platforms.
- Analyzing the market trends / practices and benchmarking of policies with the market.
- Underwriting of policy related deviations for the product and proposing policy renewals on a timely basis.
- Analysis of portfolio and ensuring Portfolio monitoring, trigger reviews & delinquency control.
- Responsible for establishing proper risk management standards for the portfolio and facilitating the business team in identifying early warning signals and analyzing quick mortality cases.
- Analyzing the market trends/practices and benchmarking of policies with the market.
- Work closely with business, technology, and operations teams to gather the underwriting requirements.
- Cost Control: Credit Vendor Management.
- Undertake the full execution of credit Models built by Data Science and suggestions for champion and challenger models.
- Interact, engage, and work with Tech, DS & Analytics teams for improvements and highlight corrective actions to ensure dataflow, data-integrations are implemented with control measures and in the most efficient and timely manner.
- Responsible for execution of 'Cred8' with partners. Build a team for it, work with a dedicated Tech, Product & DS team.
- Responsible for overall adequacy and effectiveness of the credit risk management techniques/process.
- End to end review of the Credit & Operation process and provide insights on the overall process for delivering credit quality and strict turnaround time.
- Ensure appropriate Quality Control processes are implemented for assessing performance quality as per benchmarks.
- Identifying best practices across industry which can be embedded in to the system for building quality portfolio
- Establishing goals and objectives for his/her direct reports in line with Risk function.
- Evaluating staff performance
- Promoting / coordinating effective cross-training
Requirements:

- Qualifications: MBA Finance/CA
- Required Experience : 10-15+ years of related experience out of which a minimum of 7 years in similar position/ responsibility in a Bank or Financial Institution
- Strong analytical and quantitative background
- Devise plans & contributed in the development of Credit appraisal and management systems
