Director - Country Operations - Climate/Renewables/Energy/Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement

- Implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with top management

- Oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with CCO in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets

- Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability

- Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts

- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders

- Implement and maintain administrative policies and procedures.

- Stay updated on local laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.

- Work with internal as well as external legal counsel when necessary to address legal issues.

- Liaise with banks for financing needs and maintain banking relationships.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

- Work with the company secretary to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

- Ensure the company complies with all regulatory requirements and filings.

- Work with external liaisoning parties for getting (and renewing) necessary permissions and licenses for the various sites in the country - labs, test center and factories.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations or a related field.

Proven experience in operations management, including administration, operations and finance.

2. Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations in India.

3. Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity

4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

5. Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues

6. Proficiency in MS Office and tools.
