About the Role:

The ideal candidate becomes a key contributor in building small business lending and investor platforms that provide efficient ways to access investment opportunities and serve entrepreneurial borrowers in India.

The opportunity will contribute to creating innovative solutions to our borrower and investor communities. The individual accomplishes significantly by planning, designing, delivering, and optimizing by ensuring that the Loan Management System (LMS) is accurate for all loans with deep understanding of corporate lending products. The desired outcome from these actions will result in:

- Providing east access of capital to entrepreneurs across India with small business loans to expand their business, creating growth and employment opportunities

- Enable borrowers with multiple loan specific benefits such as no hidden fees and penalties.

- Borrowers to access capital to expand their business.

- Applications for creating opportunities for individual investors to invest in several investment opportunities and receive monthly cash flows and reliable periodic returns.

- Other significant impact on other future Companies' products

B. Responsibilities/KPIs:

- Profitability: Measure the NBFC's financial performance by tracking key metrics such as net profit margin, return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and overall profitability.

- Loan Portfolio Quality: Monitor the quality of the loan portfolio by analyzing metrics like non-performing assets (NPAs), delinquency rates, and asset quality.

- Loan Growth: Evaluate the NBFC's ability to generate new business and expand its loan portfolio. Measure loan disbursal growth rates, new customer acquisition, and overall loan book growth.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company operates in accordance with relevant regulatory frameworks and complies with all legal and statutory requirements.

- Risk Management: Assess the effectiveness of risk management practices within the NBFC. This can involve monitoring risk exposure, evaluating risk mitigation strategies, and implementing robust risk management frameworks.

- Customer Satisfaction: Measure customer satisfaction levels through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and customer retention rates. The director should focus on enhancing customer experience, addressing grievances, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

- Cost Efficiency: Monitor and optimize operational costs to ensure efficient resource allocation and profitability. Measure cost-to-income ratio, expense management, and identify areas for cost reduction or process improvement.

- Funding and Capital Management: Evaluate the director's ability to secure funding sources, manage capital adequacy, and optimize the NBFC's capital structure. Monitor capital ratios, fundraising initiatives, and liquidity management.

- Leadership and Team Management: Assess the director's ability to provide effective leadership, inspire the team, and foster a positive work culture. Measure employee satisfaction, team performance, and development initiatives.

- Strategic Initiatives: Evaluate the director's success in implementing strategic initiatives and achieving long-term goals. Monitor progress on key projects, diversification efforts, market expansion, and innovation.

C. Education, Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or economics, with solid foundation in banking, with current knowledge in banking operations, credit, lending and related regulations through professional development programs, industry certifications, etc.

- 10+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with a focus on NBFC operations and regulations.

- Strong understanding of RBI guidelines and compliance requirements for NBFCs in India.

- Proven leadership abilities, adept at motivating and managing high-performing teams.

- Sound financial acumen and expertise in formulating and executing business strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

- Track record of achieving targets, enhancing operational efficiency, and maximizing profitability.

- In-depth knowledge of risk management, credit appraisal, and loan portfolio management.

- Extremely Pro-active, Results-focused and Strong analytical skills

- Attention to detail and quality, and the ability to work well in and across teams

- Thinks outside the box, problem solver and quick thinker

- Exemplary communication skills in both written and verbal
