Director - Content Preparation Office - Export\Import Function - Software Products

We have the opening for US based Software Company for the position of "Director"

This role is the lead role in the largest Content preparation office of the company globally. The Content team continues to grow and expand in terms of team size as well as depth of information.

The primary purpose of the role is to oversee the Global Trade Content Analysts and preparation of electronic Content files and:

- Ensure that all data is updated in a timely, accurate and complete manner,

- Ensure processes and procedures are followed

- Data elements are entered consistently into Content.

- Additionally the role will work with the Leadership team of Global Trade Content and other Content teams to create a standardized process for updating Content data elements, and provide metrics to the larger team, and help ensure that internal goals are met.

- Lead the approximately 30 HS analysts & approximately 110 Extraction Validation team members based in India.

- Positioned in Indian senior team and a senior position in the Global Trade Content department globally.

- This role has direct responsibility and accountability for the HS (Harmonised Schedule Tariff) team, and part of this role includes service to other Content teams in the India office.

QUALIFICATIONS: Degree qualified (Mandatory)

Preferred: A degree in International Business, Foreign Trade; or, a degree in Commerce, Science or Engineering with professional certification in International Business, Foreign Trade, Import & Export

EXPERIENCE : Prior work experience of managing overall team size of 70-100 or more with multilayer team structure with process driven functions for a period of at least 5 years is mandatory.

At least 5 years of experience with Export\Import functions with Custom House Agents (CHA), Export House, Software Product, HS Classification Outsourcing or direct export industry is preferred.

Experience with software product company is preferred.
