Position reports to: Partner POSITION PURPOSE: Business Consulting - Director, Automotive Key Accountabilities Role Descriptors Measurables/KPIs Client - Leads/ Manages multiple projects or programs through the management of team of professionals - Drive sales and actively participate in Business Development initiatives - Ability to effectively manage the client to drive project outcomes - Developing strong relationships with C-Suite and Functional Heads and influencing the client with deep subject matter expertise / thought leadership / quality and depth of analysis - Understanding the future needs of the client and identifying the right value proposition for the next engagement with the client - Ensure supervision of a minimum hours clocked on a client, profitable operations and average recoverability on new jobs won - Communication - build storyboards for meetings / presentations, clearly conceptualise and articulate thoughts, present point of view, and challenge status quo - Deepen key account relationships ;Deliver consistent client delight - Develop and roll-out client/industry centric solutions - Maintains an awareness of market trends, competitor activity and product/services - Number of projects managed or lead - Count and value of new wins and revenue managed - Thought Leaderships/Articles, POVs contributed - Repeat wins from current clients - Feedback from Clients Quality - Ensuring overall quality of the engagement in terms of timely delivery with high quality, as per the client needs and scope defined as per the Engagement Letter - Display excellent project management skills to deliver high quality work on time and to budget - Display excellent financial management of projects - Independently drive problem solving and manage engagement delivery and drive effective implementation of desired outcomes - Developing a customised approach for the engagement, bringing in the best practices from the sector/ Firm, building compelling and differentiated value propositions and driving project delivery through the team - Ensures self and team comply with risk management requirements - Number of successful projects managed - Project financials - Feedback from Partners, clients, and teams - Operational excellence metrics (write offs, write ons, large proposals) People - Enabling the team to achieve project and personal outcomes - Setting clear expectations for each of the team members on roles, deliverables, and timelines; and keeping them motivated and ensuring their well-being during project delivery - Providing continuous feedback to team members and driving learning and development of self and team (e.g. on the job learning, interactive training, SME guidance) - Demonstrating ability to resolve conflicts and steer the team ahead through coaching and mentoring to achieve project outcomes - Identifies development needs of team and provides coaching, and mentoring to attract, develop and retain our most talented colleagues. - Accurate and timely charging time to engagements - Timely communication of feedback to juniors/ reportees as an engagement/performance manager SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Qualifications: - MBA/PGDM from Premier Business school - B.E/ B.Tech/ C.A. Experience: - 10-12 years of post-Qualification experience of which at least 4-6years' in strategy or strategy consulting with reputed international strategy consulting firms/ big 4 Skills or Knowledge: Skill or knowledge area Level or depth required Why is it required?
