Job Role : The Director of Client Accounting Services is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice of the firm. While the Director will have heavy involvement with the firms "A-Level" clients and relationships, the majority of the daily role of the Director is an internal function, providing oversight, mentoring and quality control for the CAS team. The Director of CAS is responsible for ensuring the profitability of all client engagements, for recruiting, hiring, managing and retaining top-performing staff, and for reporting to the CAS Partner, as well as other practices of the firm (in support of the CAS Partner). Essential Job Duties : - Essential "10,000 foot view" of the CAS activities - Heavy contact with firm's "A-Level" clients and Prospect Development - Performing Outsourced Controller services for "A-Level" clients - Budgeting and forecasting for the CAS Practice (Internal) - Overall responsibility for CAS service line profitability and client satisfaction - Staffing, technology and other resources planning/management - Service line individual and team performance review - Education and development for service line team - New technology recommendations to the Partner Desired Skills, Abilities, and Characteristics - 8-15 years of demonstrated experience. - CA required. - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. - Prior success managing projects and people. - Excellent analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills. - Highly motivated and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision. - Detail oriented and the ability to prioritize and focus in a high-paced, multi-tasking environment. - A passion for client service. - Ability to excel under tight deadlines. - Strong written and communication skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office. - Entrepreneurial spirit. Skills and Competencies : Technical Skills : - Accounting and MIS expertise. Responsible for managing day to day accounting ,monthly MIS ,profit and loss - Should have handled vCFO / SuperCFO / CFO++ kind of profile with clients across various industries and investors. - Business Development expertise. Behavioral Skills : - Excellent written & oral communication Skills - Strong people person - Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
