Director - Centre Operations - Mall

- Full P&L responsibility for an upcoming mall company in India

- Responsibility to successfully operationalize, lease and launch the malls

Description

- Responsible for working in close coordination with the CEO on strategic business planning, budget planning, operating/marketing planning, brand mix and asset management

- Responsible for developing a structured business plan for key functions of malls including facilities, leasing and marketing

- Develop and implement approved procedures and systems for the malls to ensure smooth co-ordination/co-operation among various internal departments to facilitate business needs and deliver positive customer and tenant/retail experiences

- Handle complete operations of both the malls including maximising sales, developing staff, controlling expenses and shortages, inventory control and cash management

- Oversee various facets of marketing for malls including brand development, promotion, social media presence, launch, marketing calendar/events etc.

- Oversee all leasing activities including leasing documents, updates on tenants/retailers, vetting prospective clients, leasing negotiations/agreements etc.

- Ensure that the malls are operational within set time lines and budgets and within defined quality standard

- Undertake value engineering initiatives to improve the processes and systems and optimise cost

Profile

- Should have managed full operations of any of the leading mall companies in India

- Drive to successfully operationalize and oversee one of the most ambitious commercial developments in India
