They are seeking a Director of Engineering to help lead and scale their software development and innovation efforts to deliver. This is a full time technical leadership role overseeing the growth of their highly productive teams of smart and engaged engineers. This position is also doubles up as the center/site head. You will: - Work closely with their Team Leads, Engineering leaders and VP of Tech to help scale their Engineering Organization to meet their customer and product needs. - Lead, mentor and coach a mix of new and seasoned engineering managers running widely distributed teams. - Work closely with Product &amp; Design to build the next generation of products within and for customers. - Provide operational excellence and implement processes and policies that create efficiencies during a time of growth. - Have sound and meaningful discussions with clients and showcase organisational capability. - Lead teams that continuously ship product/project improvements, measures the results, and iterate. Help convert their systems to be service based and cloud agnostic. - Define and execute engineering and companywide KRAs &amp; KPIs. About you: - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in building enterprise products or managed delivery for Outsourced Product development Organisations. - You are open about technology choices (agnostic) and like to contribute to OSS projects when you find time. - You have experienced high-growth in a short period of time and are comfortable with putting systems in place and adjusting and adapting when needed. - You are comfortable managing client and people with ease and without creating imbalance. - You care about culture and values and like to be a steward for values such as transparency, collaboration, inclusiveness, accountability and experimentation. - You have experience managing, coaching and growing other engineering managers and team leads.
