Director - Capital Markets/Prime Brokerage Technology

Our client is into providing wide range of brokerage technology solutions for business partners and provides technology services in areas of development, maintenance, quality assurance and production support.

- The role will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of a large offshore team working on multiple technologies and multiple functional areas in brokerage domain.

Candidate Description:

- Strong overall brokerage technology and domain knowledge; with focus in the following areas: Trading across asset classes, prime and securities finance.

- Experience managing a large multi-technology, multi-functional team.

- Strong knowledge of quality, documentation and offshore development processes.

- Open to regular travel to the US and also potentially a long term US assignment.

Skills/Knowledge:

- Java/J2EE and front end technologies for high performance high volume applications.

- Mainframe technologies for large financial applications.

- Project/program management skills.

- Domain and functional knowledge in trading, clearing and settlement functions.

- Domain and functional knowledge in prime services and securities finance functions.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelors in Information Systems/ Computer Science.
