Director - Business Strategy, CEO Office - global design firm

Our client is a Singapore based global design firm that builds and designs office workspaces. The company is backed by leading VC firms and is present in over 15 countries and 80 cities. They are looking for a Business Strategy Director to work closely with their CEO to drive strategic initiatives and project effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work directly with the CEO in overseeing key business transformation projects from the CEO's office. Conceptualize programs, detail them out, coordinate and facilitate their implementation by working closely with the Business.

- Work with the CTO and key country leaders on digital transformation.

- Perform deep research and analysis on key business areas to establish industry trends and collect benchmark data.

- Involved in data analysis, preparing financial models; carefully evaluating financial data and presenting data in a way that enables decision making.

- Facilitate/coordinate various management forums

- Reviewing business/department performance on a periodic basis and presenting recommendations to the CEO, Implementation of CEO's directives across various businesses/departments.

- Act as a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO's office and internal departments

- Work closely with the CEO in conceptualizing fund raising strategies, preparing pitch decks, working with investment bankers and potential investors for fund raise.

- Analysing M&A opportunities for the firm.

Required Competencies:

- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, especially with senior leadership.

- Expert-level skills in written and verbal communication.

- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.

- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.

- Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- High Project Management ability and ability to close tasks showing tangible results.

Qualifications:

- MBA from a premier business school, with a minimum of 5-8 years experience

- Combination of professional experience in a consulting firm and operations role would be ideal. Start up experience is a major plus.

- Data analysis, financial modelling, dashboarding and presentation will be an added advantage.
