Client - One of the leading travel eCommerce company

Position - Director - BI

Location - Gurgaon

Responsibilities:

- Lead, train and coach a team of Data engineers, BI developers/ Data engineers and analysts

- Improvement of team's performance and champion a culture of productivity, responsiveness and quality.

- To build Business Intelligence and reporting solutions for Business partners using the latest BI technologies and cloud solutions

- Apply industry standard methodologies and new technology to enhance productivity, quality, and system performance.

- Oversee the work through design, development, and deployment of new functionality.

- Work closely with other developers and diverse teams to create the platform vision and evolve the product roadmap.

- Evangelize and drive adoption of platform technologies by other development teams.

- Set appropriate project backlogs and manage ongoing changes.

- Priorities the latest technologies and trends, looking for ways to innovate on the technology platform.

- Liasioning Product team to deliver right solutions in the conferred course of events.

Years of Experience & Qualifications

- Experience delivering business intelligence, data integration and data warehouse solutions, large-scale BI and data engineering environment

- Minimum 5 yrs of people management experience, Agile development methodology, data integration or business Intelligence, large scale analytical databases, big data tools and technologies

- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, EC2, RDS, Kinesis, S3

- Industry preference - Travel, Airline or e-commerce experience is highly prefer
