ABOUT THE CLIENT :

Our client is an ISB+IIM alums founded start-up looking to disrupt the Global Cross-Border E-Commerce logistics space using technology. It is targeting the highly fragmented global logistics industry of which D2C brands are poised to become a significant portion in the next 5-10 years. They will use their in-house technology and data-driven tools to aggregate global logistics for brands helping them access high ARPU global markets which will help in reducing brands' shipping costs by offering them the lowest cost options to ship across the world and reduce the overhead on the cross-border logistics paperwork.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability :

This is a leadership level role; While the prime responsibility is to acquire new business and grow existing one, the person is expected to work cross-functionally with leaders.

- Plan weekly, monthly & annual revenue and tonnage targets.

- Acquire new clients and work with the existing clients to increase business.

- Build a dynamic result-oriented Sales and Customer Care team.

- Work with Operations team at all times to ensure that the business is executed well.

- Work with the clients to do a long-term strategic planning of their global supply chain

- Work with the founders as a leadership team member to build short, mid-term and long-term strategy.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6-10 years of overall sales and business development experience post MBA

- Sales Leadership and team management experience of 3+ years is a must.

- Experience in Logistics, particularly cross border logistics is strongly preferred

- Experience in solution selling would be a plus, but not mandatory

- Experience with D2C Industry is a plus but not mandatory.

- Experience with start-up is a plus.

- Strong Analytical mindset is a must.

- MBA from top tier B-schools preferred

Reporting:

This position directly reports into the Founder.

Salary: Up to INR 25 Lacs
