Director - Business Development - Healthcare Startup

We are looking for a - Director of Business Development - for one of our esteemed Clients for Bangalore Location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build a marketing data base of large corporations, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical-technology companies, health care organizations that is interested in our solution.

- Research organizations online (especially over social media) / offline to identify new clients/ channels.

- Work with internal teams to translate industry contacts, knowledge and activity into profitable business opportunity; participate in new marketing initiatives.

- Develop and maintain up-to-date opportunity pipeline.

- Initiate and secure appointments to pitch company's products and services.

- Complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities.

- Maintain excellent relationship with existing and potential clients.

- Consult with all levels to establish functional goals and and product development.

- Manage and oversee execution plans of down-lines.

- Develop and implement workshops and seminars to promote products and services.

- Attend industry events to build network and reputation.

REQUIREMENT:

- Good knowledge of the health care and/or mobile health industry.

- Executive - More than 3 years working experience in sales/ business development in the pharmaceutical/ healthcare/ industry.

- Director/ Manager - More than 8 years working experience in sales/ business development in the pharmaceutical/ healthcare/ industry, out of which, minimum three years in similar capacity.

- Excellent entrepreneurial and numeric flair is critical to the success of this role.

- Persuasive, good written &spoken English and conversant in at least one other Indian language.

- Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office applications.

- Minimum college degree. Advanced or health care related discipline will be a plus. MBA will be a strong plus.
