Director - Business Analytics - Insurance/Healthcare Industry

- Partner with MetLifes business groups to drive responsible growth

- Lead engagement with business leaders to drive awareness of global analytics CoE capabilities and working model across US and global teams

- Lead and drive all elements of a solid analytics value pipeline: Ideations, exploration, delivery and operationalization with ownership for ideation and exploration of analytics use cases

- Design and maintain strategic priorities and business performance fact packs to develop analytics programs for MetLifes business groups

- Support analytics design decisions by taking relevant inputs from business team and defining clear plan for analytics team; extract relevant insights and interpret model results

- Lead communication of analytics outputs with stakeholders; act as bridge between business and analytics specialists; Shares insights with business stakeholders, collects inputs and design operationalization plans

- Develop case studies and lead value capture inter-lock with business leadership post project delivery

- Keep abreast of emerging business and analytic trends in the industry and collaborate closely with data science team to apply new techniques to drive effective decision making

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required -

- 8 to 12 years of experience in analytics project delivery and/or management consulting concern focused on insurance/healthcare industry

- Strong executive communication written and oral, structured problem solving and storyboarding skill

- Strong appreciation of analytical methods/tools/assets to solve functional business problems

- Proven ability to translate broad business strategies into clear, specific analytics led use-cases and design business deliverables and solutions; proven analytics advisory capabilities

- Attitude to thrive in a fun fast paced startup like environment

- Brings high energy and passionate outlook to the role and has a strong sense of leadership

- MBA or financial services industry experience preferred; undergraduate degree in related discipline required
