Director - Brand Manager - FMCG

Job Description:

- Responsible for developing and owning the go to market strategy, positioning, packaging & pricing of company’s platform and solutions for the vertical

- Drive company’s understanding of our customer needs by staying on top of market trends, analysing customer objectives, collaborating with the Business Development team

- Inform company’s product roadmap for the vertical, alongside product management team

- Be responsible for overall performance of company's product & solutions in the vertical, including driving required data analysis

- Design new solutions, including pilot campaigns, to ensure company is continually innovating within the vertical

- Be a thought leader to company’s management team on the vertical.

- Build 3rd party partnerships where required to execute on company’s strategy

- Potential for P&L responsibility in the longer term

- Strong career growth, including building a team, available for candidates who prove themselves

- Brand strategy & positioning; mining consumer insights; marketing mix development including advertising &
communication development; brand launch management; media selection; media planning; cross-functional team leadership

Desired experience:

- Experience in any of FMCG brand.

- Business development, Client management and / or project management experience preferred

Qualifications/Skills:

- Must have exceptionally strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills

- Must be naturally analytical and be very comfortable with numbers

- Strong initiative and real self-starter

- Creative flair and strong interpersonal skills

- Aptitude to learn tech products and services is essential

- Desire & drive to help take a break-out start-up to the next level
