Director - BFSI Data Warehousing & BI Practice - IT

Position : Director-BFSI Datawarehousing and BI Practice (Leading MNC IT Company)

Role :

- This role will be responsible for helping in running and growing the Datawarehousing and Business Intelligence capabilities Centre of Excellence

- Needs a very strong focus on Consumer and Commercial Banking across different segments of the banking market

- Director will be responsible for enhancement of current services and solution portfolio, sourcing, deployment, evolution and on-going operations of advanced, cutting edge and leading DWBI and Data migration solutions

- The Director will manage a team of DWBI Architects, data architects, solution designers and client engagement / program managers

- To create and execute a strategy that enables creation of new services and offerings on top of the Company's existing solution stack and independent services which can be taken to Banks and Financial Institutions

- To be able to act as senior solution architect for handling complex data management, data migration and data warehousing scenarios

Requirements :

- Engg+MBA, with additional qualifications and certifications on Banking

- 15-18 yrs of overall experience with a minimum of 10-12 years supervisory experience and team management is required

- Should have demonstrated experience in managing Data Management, Datawarehouse function / sub-function P&L in the past

- Experience in designing Datawarehouse and Data Migration programs

- Knowledge and experience in running divisions/CoE, capability creation, training, content creation, managing knowledge artifacts and white papers on banking and related fields

- Broad experience with multiple technologies in the area of ETL, business intelligence, reporting and descriptive analytics is required.

- Demonstrated experience of scoping and managing large, complex engagements and delivering solutions within schedule and budget, which are first time right

- Sound technical knowledge - data base structures/querying, understanding of ETL and BI technologies like Informatica, Ab Initio, COGNOS etc

- Should be hands on professional experienced and passionate in data migration, data warehousing and Business Intelligence

- Should have sufficient experience in architecture, solution design, technology evaluation, and most importantly, advancing the capabilities to fuel the competitive edge

- To work with sales teams and partner in solution and sales cycle

- To be able to create and present proposals, RFP Responses etc. independently

- Providing oversight to the design and delivery of big data platforms

- Experience managing and working with multi-regional and multi-functional teams in a matrixed environment is required. Ability to lead a team of 50+ resources

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Previous Experience in working with various geographies
