Responsibilities
- Forging partnerships with Banks and Card associations and other Payments ecosystem participants.
- Deepening business relationships with Banks and Card associations on an ongoing basis. Should be able to align partners’ product and business goals and enable our technology teams and operations teams to deliver outstanding customer experience.
Skill Set
- The Director will be a seasoned Payments Professional with an extensive and deep professional network in the industry - specifically in card associations, card issuing and acquiring divisions of banks, net banking and mobile banking divisions of banks and other industry participants such as regulatory bodies and other government agencies.
- have deep understanding of the payments industry and its participants in India as well as in other geographies.
- have strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- have a deep understanding of organizational structure and internal dynamics of prominent payments participants. Should be able to leverage the same to enable company's payments business.
- be able to drive and program manage initiatives involving multiple external stakeholders.
- Should be keyed in to payments industry developments and be able to foresee emerging trends and regulation.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of industry experience in India in a senior business development role, either in the card acquiring or issuing team at major banks in net banking or mobile banking team at major banks in a prominent card association in a prominent banking software, specifically payments software, vendor in a payments organization
