Director or AVP - Business Intelligence   About the company:  A leading healthcare KPO / CoE  Key Job Responsibilities:   - Build a center of excellence providing business intelligence across revenue cycle management (provider) for our customers. These insights should create value across dimensions such as; revenue, cost, collections, productivity etc. Revenue cycle management comprises following four areas;  - Revenue Generate (work at clinics, EHR, patient support, helpdesk)   - Revenue Capture (charge entry, coding, eligibility & benefit verification)   - Revenue Collect (AR, Billing, PP, Denials management)   - Revenue Protect (under payment analysis, coding compliance)   - Generate actionable business intelligence for different levels of customer door - L3 (CXO level); L2 (Operational/Functional), L1 (Transactional)   - Identify and implement automation opportunities that drive process efficiencies and improve quality of work   - Create standard metrics reporting package and provide daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports that aid decision making for business leaders. Metrics such as; gross to net collections, ageing analysis, rejections/denials analysis etc. Identify payment trends across payers, rejections, denials to improve first pass payment ratio   - Build real time dashboards that provide critical metrics for decision making   - Build a team that supports new businesses/accounts migration activities such as; pricing sensitivity analysis, forecasting revenue/collections, estimating manpower requirements, tasking analysis.   - Collaborate with teams from transition, operations, sales, client services, customer to achieve above   - Leverage statistical models in building predictive/forecasting models   - Lead a centralized BI/MIS team with an approx. size of 20-30 that drives the above across India/US locations. Build a team that supports an aggressive growth (50%+ CAGR)   Critical success metrics:   - Business intelligence that significantly impacts revenue, collections, cost, patient satisfaction etc.  - Be viewed by customers (internal & external) as a COE for BI & MIS   - Build BI/MIS as a service offering, not just internal capability   - Support aggressive new account growth smoothly   - Automate reports to save resource requirement & improve responsiveness   Skills, competencies, experience required:   - Strong RCM/healthcare knowledge with minimum last 5 years in the same industry. Overall experience minimum 14 years   - Demonstrated ability to have led BI/MIS centralized teams   - Strong analytical, communication and team working skills   - Strong working knowledge of MS office, Excel, VBA, SQL/Data ware house   - Ability to work in night shifts (though a mid shift may be required most often)   - Job may require 20-30% traveling   - Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques
