Director - Assurance & Risk Advisory The incumbent will be working as a Senior leader in Assurance & Risk Advisory division for clients serviced by Delhi/ Mumbai/ Ahmedabad Office. Network with peers in the Firm and leverage organization wide synergies to enhance its- image and grow the business through integrated delivery, professional excellence, sustained client trust and consistent client satisfaction. He/she will be extensively involved into Developing new client contacts for business growth Job Description: - Identifying business opportunities and with new/existing clients and build key account relationships. - Maintain positive and long-term relationships with them. - Lead multiple projects in various Audits like Statutory, Internal, tax advisory covering corporate tax, Transfer pricing and international tax etc through team to deliver within tight timeframe and deadline - Understand client business and provide appropriate audit services to meet client expectations. - Lead fee negotiations and discussions on scope for business across clientele - Advising clients on complex tax matters and international tax issues relating to cross border transactions, Indian corporate tax issues - Steer assurance and tax risk management processes and ensure strict adherence to SOPs - Build & nurture an effective working relationship with Tax authorities, business & functional heads. - Proactively advising clients on strategic issues and providing them with a perspective on global trends and emerging practices significant to their business operations - Reviewing financial statements and making recommendations for improvement - Reviewing policies and procedures to ensure they are in compliance with industry standards or government regulations - Preparing audit reports that detail findings and recommendations for corrective action - Train the immediate line of managers in propagating a culture of Identifying business potential, cross selling other products of the firm besides Audits and Tax, though strong internal and external networking. - Cultivate a business development mindset for individual and firm growth. Ensure transparency and honesty with client deliverables and financial targets with the client and team respectively. - Develop innovative ideas to extent client services - Manage expenses and staffing to increase revenue - Assist in developing company standards to improve effectiveness and quality of deliverables. - Attend client meetings and stay abreast with industry trends. Key Skills and Competencies: - At-least 7 years of experience working as a Senior Manager or Partner. (preferably in a CA Firm) - Expertise in Assurance & Risk Advisory domain, industry best practices and Indian & International Tax laws. - Strong financial or statistical analytical abilities - Strong industry network and business acquisition skills - Excellent Mentoring, leadership, decision-making & inter-personal skills - Effective communication and ability to articulate and cascade the vision and values - Strong negotiation & influencing skills - Team Management - Open to travel - Able to maintain a multi-task focus - Highly principled with strong ethics - Attention to detail, practical approach to problems, client focused and commercial awareness.
