Director - Analytics - Recruitment Firm - IIT/IIIT/NIT/BITS

What will you be doing:

- Heavy data crunching to build insights and recommendations and drive operational decision making.

- Developing insightful analysis about business and their strategic and operational implications.

- Conceptually design, execute and embed analysis that support strategic planning and decision-making with external & internal sources.

- Develop story lines, collect data/input, Analyze and make presentations.

- Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies in a structured way, suggesting areas of improvement and identifying opportunities / threats based on internal and external data sources, market trends and user behaviour in an effort to strengthen efficiency and provide strategic direction.

- Prepare reports for management & operations to drive decisions.

Who we're looking for:

- 5-8 years of business analytics/consulting experience.

Education: 

- Engineering graduates from Tier-1 colleges will be preferred. MBA would be a plus.

- Expert in the use of SQL, Excel and one or more of the statistical tools like R, SAS, VBA for data manipulation and statistical analysis purposes.

- Expert in manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.

- Excellent analytical skills - ability to understand and interpret data within the context of the business - solve problems and distil data into actionable recommendations.

- Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams; independently and proactively.

- Intellectual and analytical curiosity - initiative to dig into the - why- of various results.

- Desire to learn new technologies and grow analytical skill set and comfortable working in a fast and dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
