Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of statistical analysts engaged in research, data mining, predictive modeling and other quantitative analyses.
- Evaluating, maintaining, updating and customizing ISO Risk Analyzer products including personal auto environmental module, driver module, total policy module, commercial auto environmental module, and homeowners environmental module.
- Providing technical support for clients: setting-up processes for analyzing and demonstrating "lift" for pilot testers; providing technical expertise on Sales calls with potential customers; customizing industry models for clients.
- Developing analyses to support marketing activities: establishing novel ways of assessing the value of model lift; performing comparative studies (e.g., ISO models vs Credit, etc.); writing user cookbooks and evaluation papers, and helping develop Sales/Marketing collateral.
- Supporting the productization of models: performing state-specific model adjustments, smoothing, geo-spatial analyses, sub-group testing, etc.; working with Product Management to determine specs for implementation; supporting the filing team with analysis, reason-code explanations, and on-the-ground support such as DOI visits.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Analytics Leader
- Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus
- Background in market research and project management
- Knowledge of Excel, R and SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS)
- Superb communication skills
- Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving aptitude
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field ( Top institute preferably)
