Director - Analytics - Chemical & Industrial Manufacturing Sector

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage large and complex projects to deliver on the project scope while ensuring that the project is completed on time and within the assigned budget

- Understand the problem statement, build a hypothesis, test, and then implement analytical solutions & techniques.

- In short, build efficient solutions to solve complex problems

- Showcase thought leadership to build creative and insightful solutions for the client

- Deploy best-in-class technology, statistical models, and research methods to solve complex business problems and generate impactful business reports

- Engage with various stakeholders and teams internally to understand the data structure, collect, clean, transform, validate, and visualize datasets, ensuring the integrity of our data flows Identify and manage dependencies and risks across various analytics datasets and models

- Coordinate the execution of multiple complex projects simultaneously as per the defined scope promptly and within the budget while ensuring a high level of internal and external stakeholder satisfaction.

- Guide teams to understand the problem statement, build hypotheses, test, and then implement analytical solutions & techniques. In short, build efficient solutions to solve complex problems.

- Showcase thought leadership to support the development of innovative and high-quality solutions for complex client problems.

- Drive collaboration across teams to enhance idea generation and implementation of best practices related to technology, analytic approach, statistical, and data tools.

- Guide teams to ensure we are delivering world-class solutions and communicating on the value to the stakeholders.

- Identify the potential problem areas for the client beyond the defined scope of the project to build leads for future projects.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or equivalent. MBA preferred.

Experience:

- 10+ years of relevant analytics and project management experience along with proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

- Experience in working with Chemical & Industrial Manufacturing client with exposure to pricing and operations processes is preferred.

- Strategic thinker and problem solver who applies analytic solutions to business problems.

- Strong time and people management skills

- Proven experience in building and managing high-performing teams.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights.

- Strong communicator with the ability to influence decision making and facilitate discussions in broader groups.

- Experience in guiding the team to create impactful dashboard in different visualization platforms like Tableau, PowerBI

- Good understanding of statistics, machine learning, algorithms, etc.
