Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Director of Analytics to lead and manage the Analytics team. The Analytics acts as a strategic service and partner to all business functions , including Technology, Account Management, Delivery and Operations. The Director of Analytics will collaborate closely with the CEO.
- Strategic role with clear accountability to drive process, optimize and build the team to scale.
- Centralize report and analytics design in order to create both quality and consistency in report design
- Work closely with all geographic in different time zones
- Help define the problem along with our clients and onsite teams
- Determine the approach including exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, descriptive dashboards and technology solutions to solve problems
- Lead teams thru the entire cycle of problem solving
- Communicate with the client on the approach, solution and insights generated
- Facilitate consumption and help operationalize analytics.
- Planning the delivery of the overall programs and their activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization
- Managing change and the implementation of new programs
- Ensuring proper documenting of program activities
- Ensuring that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization
- Implementing the human resources policies, procedures and practices of the organization
Desired Skills & Experience
Competencies:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an analytical function, with a strong preference for retail experience
- Must be a strategic thinker and translates the vision into actionable, quantitative plans.
- Experience building reporting dashboard and models in MS Excel
- Experience in building analytics towards CRM consulting
- Experience using data to build predictive models relying on statistical techniques
- Strong business sense and understanding of the drivers of an retail company
- Specific experience in building models and metrics based on customer cohorts and lifetime values
- Working experience in orchestrating and executing A/B concepts with business users and to present data that has been optimized for consumption
- Experience managing and building a team of analysts
- Experience with java script/html/shell scripting is a plus
- Results-driven, focused, and analytical
- Outstanding follow-up, organization, and time management skills
- Resourceful and energetic executor capable of taking on a task and driving it to completion
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details
- Ability to set clear and measurable performance objectives and monitors progress rigorously, plans ahead and links action to business priorities
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Technology or Business Administration. Ten and more years of Analytics experience and at least 5 (Current) years experience in retail, CRM, Financial and Software industries.
