Urgently hiring Director/AGM - Govt relations in Gurugram.

We are looking for candidates with 10+ years of experience.


Roles and responsibilities:

As a Government Relations resource, you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships between our organization and government entities at the local, state, and federal levels. You will serve as the primary point of contact for government officials and agencies, advocating for our organization's interests, and facilitating communication and collaboration on legislative and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain relationships: Cultivate strong, positive relationships with government officials, policymakers, and regulatory agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.

- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments: Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory proposals, initiatives, and developments that may impact our organization's operations, interests, or industry.

- Advocacy: Advocate for our organization's interests and priorities by communicating our positions, concerns, and perspectives to government officials and policymakers through meetings, briefings, testimony, and written correspondence.

- Policy analysis: Analyze proposed legislation, regulations, and policies to assess their potential impact on our organization and develop recommendations or strategies to address opportunities or challenges.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on government relations matters.

- Strategic planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to advance our organization's goals and objectives through engagement with government entities.

- Coalition building: Identify opportunities for collaboration and coalition-building with other organizations, industry groups, and stakeholders to amplify our advocacy efforts and achieve common objectives.

- Issue management: Manage issues or disputes that arise between our organization and government entities, working to resolve conflicts and find mutually acceptable solutions.

- Public affairs: Support public affairs and communications efforts by providing insights, analysis, and messaging guidance on government relations issues.

- Reporting and documentation: Maintain accurate records of government interactions, activities, and outcomes, and prepare reports or summaries for internal stakeholders as needed.
