Direct Taxation Role - Consumer Durable

Hardcore experience in :

- Finalization of Corporate tax return

- Ensuring correct deposit of Advance tax and WHT

- Dealing with Transfer pricing issues including BEPS compliance

- Day to day advisory on WHT issues, business agreements and transaction structures

- Finalization of Tax Audit and Transfer Pricing Documentation

- Effectively dealing with the Assessing officer/ TPO and ensuring that any SCNs/ issues raised during the corporate tax assessment and TP proceedings are appropriately responded to

- Analyzing demand orders and creating a strategy for dealing with the ensuing litigation

- Working with Consultants on matters in appeal before DRP/Tribunal, review of submissions and appeals, dealing with authorities at appellate level

- Appointment of Counsels, review of appeal petitions, submissions and writ petitions to be filed before the High Court and Supreme Court. Briefing the Counsels to ensure that they are adequately equipped with the required information to argue the case

- Experience in negotiating with APAs will be an added advantage

- Communication with management locally and with Tax Teams in Head Quarters - South Korea on all the matters above.
