Given below the position details with a Leading IT Orgainsation in the Banking domain :

Position - Direct Sales Manager (Banking S/w Products)

Location - Mumbai, Bangalore & Chennai (Hybrid Working)

JD:

Role Purpose :

The role is responsible to execute sales strategy for Org by identifying target leads, prospect leads, facilitating sales activities and providing solutions to the client which is desired and can add more value to client's businesses in order to achieve organization revenue targets.

Business Development :

- Generate new business leads using existing and potential customer networks

- Collaborate and coordinate with inside sales or marketing team to get the leads (prospects) that are to be approached for business development

- Enter leads into the system and maintain the repository

- Qualify the lead based on the parameters established (potential company background, leadership team, company financials etc.)

Sales Operations and Performance management

- Support senior regional manager during pitches, in resolving escalation or in case of negotiations with the client

- Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective customers, if required collaborate with Pre-sales team for demonstration of product / services that is being offered

- Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

- Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success and develop positive relationships with customers

- Assist in designing and creating campaigns, execute the same and monitor results. Identify prospects and pursue leads to closure

- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company's reputation

- Follow up with prospects, several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure customer needs are addressed effectively

Relationship Building :

- Liaise with existing customers and maintain a healthy relationship and suggest upgrades while managing their account so as to increase the scope with existing clients

- Maintain healthy relationships with account holders and get more leads via business relationship and word of mouth that is generated based on the quality of services that is provided to existing clients

Process Improvement :

Track sales strategies and activities of key competitors and incorporate market best practices
