We need someone who has experience in consulting firm into any field such as direct tax or corporate tax or transfer pricing or m&a tax .

This is basic job description for direct tax

- Incumbent will be responsible for executing assignments.

- Preparation of advisory notes, extracting case laws & advisory relevant information based on research,

- Drafting of reports, submissions

- Compliance based assignments (FBT, advance tax, taxable income, income liability, capital gains tax calculation etc)

- Associate Direct Tax will be closely working with AMs & above.

- Supporting the assignments based on client specific needs which may lead to work in corporate tax, international tax or transfer pricing.

- Doesn’t involve frequent travelling

- Tax office representation work (scrutiny agreements, rectifications, penalty hearings etc)

- Agreement review related work (share purchase agreements, subscription agreements, contribution agents, trust deeds etc)

Main Priorities:

- Research, preparation of reports

- Command over English language

- Logical thought process

- Basic understanding of Income tax law

Skills/ Knowledge:

- Basic Knowledge of Direct Tax regulations.

- Knowledge of corporate tax (income tax & DTAA) & international tax

- CS, LLB would be considered as an added advantage.

- Work exposure in areas related to FIPB, FEMA, NBFC, SEBI etc

- Analytical ability

- Should have good academic records.
