Job Description – Digital Strategy (Manager)

College : Tier 1

Experience:

- Solid background in business strategy combined with an understanding of digital strategy

- Understanding of impacts of digital technologies on business and business transformation in a digital context.

- Developing industry specific Digital Transformation value propositions for one or more of Products (Retail, Consumer Goods), Financial Services, Resources (Utilities); trends within the industry ecosystem and how digital could disrupt those or unleash new opportunities

- Driving competitive advantage on the strength of business insights presented by integrating technology across the ecosystem of supply and demand to transform business models and extend reach into new markets

- Transforming processes, business models and the customer experience by exploiting the pervasive digital connections between systems, people, places and things

- Building and operating a digital business or digital marketing platform (Preferred but not a requirement)

Role:

- Develop a comprehensive perspective on potential digital disruptions to the current ecosystem

- Provide mid- to long-term strategy to transform an organizational entity into digital business or one utilizing digital technologies effectively

- Define network, roles and responsibilities of customers, suppliers, partners and employees required to realize the digital business strategy

- Generate new product, service, offering, channels or operational opportunities driven by digital technology

- Define an integrated organizational and capability model for business, IT and partners based on strategic business objectives and technology capabilities

- Offer new perspectives and solution paths based on proven digital practices and solutions

- Define the strategic blueprint of the digital business architecture connecting how digital drives revenue, the required capabilities and the actions required to execute the strategy

- Provide insights into which capabilities are required to support target digital business model

- Provide alternatives for delivery of digital services and capabilities

- Derive roadmap to transform the business to a digital one and achieve the business case

- Define requirements for end-to-end processes for the digital business
