Digital Solution Architect - API Platform - Telecom

The Solution Architect role requires a high-level of communication with customers and technical teams and responsibility and ownership for delivery and deployment of a wide range of solutions.

This is a very unique opportunity to be a part of the set up from scratch to build an API Monetization eco system in India. You will be expected to travel within India and outside on a regular basis.

On a day-to-day basis it involves designing the API Monetization eco system (covering both Long tail & short tail requirements)from scratch, integrating with the company's geographical hubs/platforms, getting into calls and web conferences with customer architecture teams, design discussion and demonstrations and working with product and sales teams to find optimal technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will not only be a domain expert but be creative thinker and able to spot business opportunities for the company and provide technical and business solutions as required.

Requirements

- Engg in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent

- At least 10-16 years of solid industry experience, and the scars to prove it! With at least 5 years at architect level

- Experience in business, system architecture principles, architecture patterns, processes and frameworks

- Experience in running or managing hackathons with the developer community

- Experience on setting up and managing an App Store would be an added management

- Exceptional client management and communication skills, ability to guide, train and negotiate technical decisions

- Experience responding to RFPs and participating in RFP defense

- Experience in working with cloud based solutions (i.e. AWS, Azure)

- Being accustomed to agile principles

- Working with remote software development team

In addition, you should:

- Have a background in Telecommunications domain, API Platform Management, with relevant experience with a vendor or a Start Up or a Telco

- Experience in SOA, EDA, and enterprise middleware while actively participating in the entire process, from design to implementation.

- Exhibit natural curiosity, an analytical mind, and a willingness to explore the unknown.

- Have an affinity for new challenges, a self-starting attitude, and a willingness to work with multiple customers.

- Be able to take ownership of complex technical problems and drive them to resolution individually as well as work effectively through escalations with the engineering team.

- Possess an amicable personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Have the ability (e.g. passport) to travel overseas.
