Digital Product Lead - Credit Cards - established bank in the UAE

- A well-established bank, headquartered in Dubai is looking for a Digital Product Lead - Credit Cards who is passionate and imaginative with excellent communication skills to create the product vision, convey it to the Scrum team, and collaborate with internal stakeholders, development team, and Scrum Master.

- The successful candidate will hold sole responsibility over the roadmap of the team, daily operations, project execution, and how risks are addressed. They will have end-to-end responsibility for the product backlog management and stakeholder management as well as the delivery and operationalization of product specific Epics, Stories and Delivery Sprints.

Key Responsibilities :

- Leads Credit Cards product to overall success

- Observes, learns about, contacts and analyzes end users of the credit cards product

- Gathers user requirements and translate them into user stories

- Works with multiple teams to understand the requirements and constraints for building the product

- Writes new user stories for Credit cards

- Creates, maintains and prioritizes the product backlog

- Specifies acceptance criteria for each user story

- Writes acceptance tests

- Clearly communicates the requirements to the team

- Gives feedback to the development team

- Facilitates release planning with stakeholders

- Participates in sprint meetings

- Builds and maintains a relationship with the stakeholders

- Tracks and measures product progress

- Coaches development and design teams with detailed guidance during the product development

- Integrates usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction

Experience :

- 10+ years of banking experience, other related project work experience, or demonstration of high level of understanding of the banking industry

- Minimum of 6 years of experience gathering requirements and translating into user requirements, data engineering, data science, or software engineering experience

- Understanding of credit card user journey and decision process

- Background in engineering, technology, or UX preferred

- Experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager with software products

- Experience in Agile methodologies

- Strong negotiation and leadership skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort in speaking with senior leaders

- Must be a strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically

- Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them

- Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace

- Passion for innovation and - can do- attitude
