The company is headquartered in Gurgaon and has partnerships in running Exchange/Buy-Back/Trade-In programs with e-commerce, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and offline retailers like Samsung, Snapdeal, Amazon, Croma Retail and HP etc.

As the Digital Media Planner, you will be the steward of the entire investment and implementation process of Digital and will work very closely with Business Arm of the company.

What you will do:

1. Media Activation and Execution:

- Providing digital partner selection and rationale

- Assessing and evaluating vendor proposals in line with lead objectives

- Assisting in developing investment strategies for maximizing media dollars and media efficacy

- Acting as a key negotiator working with vendors to ensure smart investments are made

- Making optimizations recommendation based on insights pulled from data

- Maintaining media budgets and changes to media plan post negotiations

- Keeping abreast of all invoices, billing and delivery issues and overseeing accounts discrepancies

- Working with a creative team to understand creative assets available and any custom placements

- Managing intricacies of various digital tracking services, including Google's Doubleclick Campaign Manager

- Working with Digital Ad Operations to ensure flawless implementation of digital media and supporting in all digital media tracking troubleshooting

- Analyzing tracking results and writing detailed summaries of the end of campaign results

- Accurately aligning digital media investment with correct measurement KPIs

2. Strategic Thinking & Leadership:

- Working with a management team to develop strategies for digital buys

- Strategizing ways to most effectively use digital media dollars to the greatest benefit for our clients

- Providing guidance to team members to nurture/promote the team environment

What you need to know/have:

- Postgraduate degree in relevant field of study with a preference for Mathematics

- 4+ years of media planning/buying experience, including at least 2 years focused on online

- Performance media background (acquisition campaign based planning/buying) preferred

- Should have the good understanding of B2B vs. B2C audience

- High level of proficiency with full planning cycle and development/implementation of media plans

- Thorough understanding of the media process, media department, and inter-departmental relationships

- High level of confidence with an ability to manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders

- Strongly proficient with numbers and budgets

- Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives

- Balanced ability to perform analytically and creatively

- Familiarity with offline media concepts

- Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
