Digital BU Head ( AI, ML, IOT, Device Engineering & Cloud) Position Reports to : VP or COO; however reporting may change as per business requirements Principal Accountabilities & Job Complexity : - Thought leaders who lead Business Unit (BU) of more than 300+ engineers located at different geographies across the world. - Define overall expansion strategy for BU for a, ML, IOT, Device Engineering & Cloud( AZURE, AWS, Google) - Closely interact and coordinate with Delivery Managers, Sales teams - Responsible for Revenue and Profit targets. Define goals, revenue targets and gross margin targets of Delivery Managers and encourage them to achieve - Taking interviews of senior candidates. Hiring and firing decisions in consultation with VP/COO. - Define technology roadmap and investment strategy for service expansion. - Develop awareness of market dynamics in own domain and / or technology and motivate Managers to handle multiple customer programs & teams - Responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company including the overall strategy, development and continuous evolution of our platform and applications in addition to working with the Senior Management - Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices - Perform critical projects review to ensure operational parameters are within organization set limits, Conduct Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Performance Review of the team through MBO appraisal system - Participate in the key customer account reviews and identity area of expansions. - Work closely with the peers, sales team and marketing team to develop the best technical design and approach for new service development - Responsible to follow the CMMi (or equivalent) processes as defined in the organization Job Complexity : - Head Business Unit and influence and drive projects to meet customer expectations - Typically resolves and encourage the team to resolve complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist - Generate revenue to ensure positive needle movement in the profits of the organization - Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization - Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices Experience / Education and Technical Skills: Experience : 18-22 Years Qualification : B.E., B.TECH, M.E. M. TECH in electrical /electronic or equivalent Technical Skills: - Relevant Experience of the Product development life cycle - Experience in working with a product or service company - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Should be a proven leader, be able to build and manage teams in a combination of solid and dotted line management. - Requires hands-on experience as well as a proven track record of building and leading interdisciplinary teams in a similar setting delining with Digital Transformation and Delivery capabilities: ( AI, ML, IOT, Device Engineering, Cloud ) - Ability to build network/client, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization. - Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders
