Job Description - Digital BA

Position/Profile Summary:

The Digital Business Analyst would be responsible for working with clients and Verticurl Project Teams to drive the project vision, objectives, and take ownership for shaping successful digital solutions. As Digital BA you will work and negotiate directly with the client stakeholders to scope the requirements, analyze and transform business objectives into a backlog of user stories to be delivered by the project and technical teams. Constantly manage client expectations on project scope. You must have experience in delivering web-based solutions and must have a good understanding of the complexities of technical, user experience-driven web and mobile projects.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Work closely with client's business stakeholders to understand and analyze their business needs, and our project team to formulate solutions specifications in form of digital use cases, user stories, BRD, functional specifications and solution backlog

- Ensure a clear understanding of requirements so that the solutions delivered to the business are efficient, effective, meeting the customer experience expectations.

- Work with the QA team to verify test cases meet requirements. Run UAT sessions with senior stakeholders and external customers

- Develop subject matter expertise in client's products and services, systems, organization, and processes

- Play a product owner role in the project.

- Work closely with the technical lead/project manager to define work for the developers via acceptance criteria on the user stories

- Generate ideas for how our solutions can make our clients more successful

- Understand business processes and provide guidance relative to emerging trends and strategy; understand customer's business, pain points, needs and strategic plans

- Manages and maintains test plan and strategy to map the requirements traceability matrix and support business user acceptance/integration testing.

- Put together the best practices around requirement gathering and scop management working closely with the PM and Architect on the project.

Key Skills/Experience

- Strong stakeholder management skills, excellent written/verbal communication skills and experience presenting information and updates to leadership.

- Experience in working on DXP (Digital Experience Platform solutions e.g. AEM, Sitecore, Drupal etc.) projects for managing/writing Story/Backlogs as the project will be in AGILE manner, is a MUST.

- Solution Architecture experience is preferred.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and navigate organizational complexities to obtain support/resources needed to move initiatives forward with minimal supervision.

- Ability and enthusiasm to work with multiple clients in diverse domains, and to be mobile in terms of workplace or location

- Knowledge of digital platforms, frameworks and technology landscape

- Self-confidence, adaptable and able to cope with changing and evolving priorities while being able to identify new opportunities

- Experience in website and application development and designing digital solutions

- Must understand complex digital projects and concepts as they relate to high-level business objectives, and ability to present those concepts to both IT and non-IT audiences in a concise and easily understandable manner.

- Experience with digital technologies and solutions (content management, eCommerce, CRM, marketing, and email automation) is strongly preferred.

- Good to have - experience in any of these industry verticals - BFSI, Healthcare, Travel & Hospitality, Media/Entertainment and retail.

Qualifications

- Overall experience of 8+ years in preparing requirements document, use cases, user stories, and solution backlog

- Degree in engineering, business administration (MBA if preferred) or formal certification in business analysis practice
