Job Title: Sr.Executive - Procurement POSITION SUMMARY : - Supplier Identification for various commodities for localization having potentials to generate savings, development and relationship building, Contracts, Negotiations etc. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS : - Reports to the DGM Procurement. - All departments SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY : - Quality of Final product till customer and thereafter. Initiating environment &amp; safety requirements at suppliers end. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : 1. Identification of Commodities for Localization and their potential savings 2. Working on Sourcing Module, support for vendor creation &amp; raise of Purchase Order in Oracle. 3. Identification of suppliers (Market Making), Conducting RFI/RFQ/E-bids. 4. Negotiation, TCO analysis, Award of Contracts. 5. Supplier Development &amp; Management (Quality, Delivery, Cost &amp;Technology). 6. Component Development &amp; Sample Approval Process. 7. Successful implementation of Pilot Lots. 8. Identification of cost reduction opportunities and implementation 9. Forecasting Mechanism for Commodity Prices. 10. Continually improving upon Sourcing Strategy based on Market &amp; Technological Conditions. 11. To ensure adherence to the safety &amp; environment standards 12. Ensure use of personnel protective equipments 13. IMS systems compliance JOB &amp; REQUIREMENT : - Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, equivalent. - Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in similar field. - Organizing and communication skills - Complete technical knowledge out of experience on parameters process knowledge - sheet metal, machine components &amp; polymer processing. - Knowledge of Indian Supplier market &amp; Capabilities. - Up-to date knowledge on commodity prices through market sources - Knowledge of sourcing/procurement processes - Computer skills - Analytical skills - Costing Estimate skills - Negotiation skills - Visualization - Networking - Knowledge of IMS standards - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices - Value Engineering - Auditing.
