Position Name : Unit Finance Business Partner

Level : L5A

Reports to : General Manager - Supply Finance

Purpose Of The Role : The role is responsible for Unit Finance function of respective unit - bottling, Special spirit plant and HBS operations. Unit Finance BP will support Unit head in achieving financial performance of the plant and drive key processes and productivity projects. He will be a part of Unit Leadership Team and actively contribute in Operational Excellence of the Plant.

Typical Role Requirements

Qualification : CA/MBA

Experience : 4 to 7 years of post-qualification experience of working in manufacturing industry.

Knowledge & skills :

- Good Communication and Presentation skills

- An eye for accuracy and detail

- Stakeholder management

- Knowledge of Indian Accounting and Tax

- Knowledge of Accounting systems (e.g. SAP) & Advanced Excel

- Strong in business partnering and collaboration, ability to navigate a large organization and liaise with relevant stakeholders

Areas Of Responsibility :

Bottling :

- Own and drive rigorous Monthly Finance Reviews with Finance leadership and Generate Insights around all aspects of unit operations like Make overheads, freight, inventory, fixed assets, line manning & drive conversations with various stakeholders at unit and Head office.

- Manage Unit Overheads and ensure budgetary control, drive savings agenda at unit.

- Review Unit MOR on a monthly basis with the unit leadership team with specific focus on wastages

- Ensure inventory management with minimum SLOB and waste generation, Physical verification of inventory and material balancing

- End to End Capex management including business case preparation for new Capex, continuous monitoring of assets to ensure optimal sweating & payback as well as Physical verification of Fixed Assets

- Own and Drive various productivity initiatives including tax productivity and Focus Improvement including Loss & Waste analysis for the unit

- Preparation of unit budgets and ensuring stringent budgetary control throughout the year.

- Actively participate and contribute to all projects assigned, cross functional & at head office.

- Support in statutory audits and internal audit & drive all audit points to closure

- Support in Month End Closing activities and SOX compliance and ensure pristine governance and controls on the financials. team.

- Manage Scrap sales process on pricing validations, and debtor's credit management of the unit.

- PO Management of the unit process on pricing validations & delivery.

- Partner with Snop, DBSI & Treasury for daily ED funding for the operations, governance on Advances made to RM, Capex and local supplies.

Special Spirit & HBS Spirit :

- Own and drive End to End Operational Analysis of Malt spirit plant and be a part of Overall business & control inventory, drive conversations with various stakeholders at unit and Head office.

- Manage HBS, Special Spirit & HBS Sales /Transfer process on pricing validations, and debtor's credit management of the unit.

- Ensure inventory management, partner with plant team on Maturations wastes, Physical verification of inventory and material balancing.

- Partnering with unit' on machine efficiency, cost of intermediate product like steam cost, Assets utilisations. bring visibility around process costing.
