Job Description :
Qualification - Qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance
Experience - 2-4 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in an FMCG environment
1 Functional Responsibilities
This Role has two legs - Performance reporting on central marketing / Media spends and Financial accounting / audit. In Performance reporting the role will be accountable for Budget related activities, actual performance vs budget at a granular level of brand / segment / channel etc. In the Financial accounting / audit the role will be accountable for month / quarter / year end accrual of ATL - A&P, Preparing and sharing company's financials to the Statutory auditors and support Financial Audit related to ATL - A&P. This entails the complete ownership of Marketing - Media spends of the company.
2 Financial accounting / audit:
- Review and Approval for Marketing - media Overheads.
- Review of actual spends viz-a-viz previous period comparison
- Responsible for Stat Audits, Quarterly Limited review and interim, financial Audit of ATL A&P
- Inventory ageing and SLOB reporting of marketing materials
- Data ownership of ATL A&P to enable any analytics or auditor's requirement
- Performance ownership of GIC related to A&P KPIs
- Responsible to ensure control compliance for A&P processes
3 Performance reporting:
- Budget - preparation of all analytics for finalization of A&P budget and provide historical data for budget preparation
- Performance reporting and analysis of Actual vs Budget
- Provide innovation related inputs to Global team w.r.t brand wise AOP, Actuals, IOP, etc.
- Financial data for any on-going projects / analysis
- Preparation of analytics for the business partner engagement with the category board
- Managing Global data requests on timely basis
