Location: Bangalore, India

Purpose: Own the performance of ~1000cr overheads P&L line comprising of staff and non-staff overheads. Create an annual operating budget, monitor monthly performance, manage risks/opportunities, and provide decision support on a project to assess viability. Act as the budget custodian/steward in managing expenditure and providing cost control in line with annual plans.

To be a trusted advisor to the leadership teams of Support functions (HR, IT, Legal, Admin, and CR) in setting and driving business and financial goals. Provide first line Finance analysis and decision support services to the CR, HR, Legal & IT Function Heads and their direct reports on all matters impacting the financial performance of the function. Be the trusted business advisor who provides data-driven insights and challenges decision making from a Finance perspective.

Liaise with regions and other HO finance business partners in the team to pull together the complete overheads performance management view for India CFO and Exec. Lead monthly reviews with functional directors.

Identify transformation opportunities or other initiatives for creating world-class supporting functions. Take the lead of projects within the support functions, especially projects related to streamlining and/or improving processes, systems, and policies.

- Enhanced financial performance vs. forecasts and better financial-commercial decision making

- Robust Cost Controls institutionalizing greater discretion and improving Return on Investments

- More effective business plans that motivate and drive organization behavior

- Timely provision of period-end reports with insightful analysis and commentary

- Enhanced delivery of corporate finance services to the Support functions

Requirements:

Experience (Years & specialty):

6-7 years of Commercial Finance/Business Partner experience with at least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Budget Custodianship, Quantitative Analysis or related fields of expertise.

Knowledge of SAP FICO is strongly preferred.

Educational qualification:

- MBA preferred, IFRS accounting knowledge is essential; OR

- CA (1st or 2nd attempt only)
