Position Name: Category Manager- Experiential & Production

Level : L5B - Manager

Reports to: Category Lead- ATL

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Experiential Category Buyer is responsible for the procurement of marketing services including but not limited to event sponsorships, festivals, launch events, ad production, themed installations, branded experiences, hospitality and immersive retail. The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of experience marketing channels and the commercial structures.

Qualification: Graduate/PG

Experience: 3-5 years experience in ad agency / event management agency / content production agency / food and beverage marketing / travel and retail services

Knowledge & skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Integrity and personal congruence

- Strong communication, interpersonal & negotiation Skills

- Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexible, proactive approach ready to take on new challenges

- Excellent MS Excel, data management skills

- Ability to build good relationships with people

- Strong understanding of the experience marketing industry and drivers for the category Best Suited for someone who

- Likes to work with data and is analytical

- Has a strong commercial focus

- Brings an external focus to work, by being constantly updated on developments and innovations in the external world

- Is able to build good working relationships with internal stakeholders

- Hard nosed when it comes to commercial negotiations with parties

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY PERFORMANCE MEASURES (QUANTITATIVE / QUALITATIVE):

1. Adhere to the Budgets and Ensure Savings against relevant cost base:

- Responsible for understanding the spends and thereby devise methodology to contain costs - Responsible for framing and implementing cost containment strategies - Provide cost inputs for budgets as well as strategy plan - Responsible for through price discovery - Responsible for securing on time contracts and rates with suppliers to ensure seamless business continuity - Drive cost reduction initiatives specific to category - Optimizing production costs and experience spends

2. Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with key internal stakeholders as well external partners to develop strategies for this category - Work closely with Global counterparts to be have seamless exchange of information on strategies and policies - Collaborate with internal as well as external stakeholders to bring drive transformational projects serving business requirements - Customer Satisfaction feedback

3. New Vendor & Supplier Development:

- Discover and Develop new vendors based on their capability, process orientation and infrastructure alongside the commercial consideration - Conduct Supplier performance quarterly (SPM) in line with procurement standards for improvements - Improvement in SPM scores

4. Drive Innovation and Sustainability:

- Responsible for driving innovation in this category with a strong focus on company's ESG agenda - reduction, re-use, recycle percentages
