Job Overview : - Closely work with the COO of the company to ensure smooth day-to-day operations - Develop and implement processes for managing operations/projects to ensure that they meet deadlines, customer requirements, and organizational goals in an efficient manner - Plan, schedule and supervise the work of the tech teams to ensure that services are provided in a timely manner, efficiently, and with the highest quality possible - Ensure that all employees are trained on new technologies and processes as needed to keep them up to date on industry trends - Oversee the use of equipment, materials, and other workplace resources to ensure that they are being used efficiently - Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems - Design and maintain all IT processes via standardized policies Technical Requirements : - Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends. - In-depth understanding of how a software works (Frontend, Backend, API, Database Schema etc) - Exposure to different off the shelf solutions (ZOHO, QuickBooks, Greythr, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Zapier, Survey Monkey, IVR, SMS) - Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing - Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR) - Having good tech exposures, IT systems understanding and have been involved in rolling out of software - Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle Non-Technical Requirements : - Penchant for leveraging technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness for day-to-day operations - Understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation and basic Project Management - Practical understanding of development sector - Sufficient existing knowledge of trends in the tech4good space, or an interest for the same - Problem-solving aptitude - Ability to multi-task and juggle various domains Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in software, computer science, engineering or any related STEM field. Have worked as a technical operations manager in NGOs, Social Impact Consulting Firms CSR, Think Tanks, Research Organizations.
