URGENT OPENING FOR COMPLIANCE MANAGER/DHL SUPPLY CHAIN /MUMBAI - The Compliance Manager is an integral part of Deutsche Post DHLs Compliance Organization. The role provides effective support to the RCO in the delivery and execution of compliance within APAC Objectives : 1. Drive the compliance agenda within India cluster in line with the RCO requirements ensuring that key operational compliance risks which threaten the achievement of business objectives are effectively managed in conjunction with Management 2. Identify and agree with Management and the RCO the long term and short term compliance needs 3. Set up and coordinate the compliance management system and organization which aligns to the Global Supply Chain Compliance target operating model arrangements 4. Ensure Group compliance policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption and Business Ethics Policy) are implemented. 5. Establish effective monitoring of country compliance implementation in line with Global Supply Chain Compliance target operating model arrangements ensuring effective management of competition compliance, incident management, business partner screening, compliance risk assessment, hospitality reporting, handling of customer compliance requests, compliance reporting and compliance monitoring 6. Ensure compliance risks are effectively identified in conjunction with Management and Management effectively respond to mitigate such risks 7. Collaborate with and coordinate a compliance network within central Europe involving internal stakeholders such as Internal Audit, HR, Business Development, Finance, Legal, Security and Operations 8. Act as an independent body for advice on ethical issues, conflicts of interest, compliance and related issues 9. Actively engage with customers to demonstrate and promote the compliance environment and compliance as competitive advantage. 10. Develop and maintain compliance reporting analytics including; but not limited to; incident management, business partner screening, compliance risk assessment, hospitality reporting, to inform the compliance risk profile 11. Support the RCO in active management and development of compliance communication and engagement plans including; but not limited to; the Supply Chain Compliance Handbook, Mynet pages, compliance ishare and training and development materials 12. Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues 13. Actively contribute to the development of core compliance monitoring frameworks and conduct periodic compliance monitoring reviews to ensure that compliance procedures and activities are followed in conjunction or at the direction of RCO. 14. Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues Accountabilities internally : Working in close alignment with the RCO, the Compliance Manager is accountable for : 1. Stimulating buy-in on compliance as a business priority 2. Acting as a strong communication link between countries and regional compliance 3. Rolling out communication initiatives based on the global compliance communication program 4. Provision of Supply Chain compliance analytics 5. Promoting DPDHLs Compliance policies, including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption & Business Ethics Policy and rules set forth for gifts, entertainment, sponsored events & hospitality 6. Develop, manage and maintain compliance standard operating procedures and processes and support countries in executing compliance activities 7. Driving training initiatives via MyLearningworld.net, and other methods to raise awareness of compliance issues and acceptable behavior 8. Participating in and contributing to workshops, meetings, and jour fixe of the RCO and (ad hoc) projects 9. Being a highly visible point of contact for all matters related to compliance and promoting a culture of openness for reporting compliance concerns or risks Accountabilities externally : CM has to cooperate and communicate the compliance activities with external parties : 1. Support the RCO in effectively responding to customer compliance requests, including; conveying DSCs compliance activities and policies to customers, getting the customers acceptance of DSCs position on compliance, or agreeing a mutually acceptable solution 2. Coordinate with third parties and GBS Procurement to facilitate due diligence of suppliers, vendors, agents; coordinating regular reviews and documentation 3. Keep up-to date with compliance-specific developments, cases, legislations and topics in the Region. Skills / Qualifications : - Cross cultural in outlook and attitude, innovative and highly motivated - Excellent analytical skills - Excellent assurance and audit skills - Strong communication with the ability to engage in an open dialogue and to communicate technical compliance matters clearly and effectively using appropriate language, media, techniques and tools to ensure mutual understanding and progress towards mutual goals. - Good at establishing excellent working relationships and developing personal contacts; demonstrate high level of seniority and well connected within BU - Degree in Business Management, Compliance, Risk Management or equivalent, with senior management experience in an international service related environment or an appropriate professional qualification Certification : CIAor FICA or CCEP is mandatory
