The Client :
A Value-added Logistics services provider in Logistics / Supply Chain like reverse logistics, fulfillment services, intracity deliveries etc.
The Role :
Lead the Sales function for the Logistics business. Responsibility for Top line and bottom line of the company.
Indicative deliverables :
- Responsible for client acquisition and on boarding, ongoing customer relationship management.
- Lead a team of sales professionals to ensure customer satisfaction is delivered across the different segments of customers through timely service delivery.
- Directly manage key accounts and large accounts that need management attention
- People responsibility for hiring, engaging and training sales team with necessary capability building activities.
- Ownership of revenue, pricing and negotiations with the customers to get a win-win value proposition for the business and the client.
- Bring in external perspectives about the logistics market and best practices.
- Work closely with operations team to ensure value is delivered to the customers and key customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Person for the role :
- An experienced sales professional with about 7 to 10 years in selling logistics services in eCommerce, Courier and transportation industry
- Good understanding of the logistics market, pricing policies and customer service standards.
- Experience managing a team of sales professionals across levels
