DGM - Senior Electronics Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Procurement Specialist with a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in costing, along with extensive experience in the procurement of various electronics components, including but not limited to ASICS, ICs, Mosfets, Resistors, Chips, PCBs, and Capacitors.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the procurement of electronics components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met.

- Utilize expertise in electronic component selection, design, and testing, while also possessing knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes.

- Proficiently use software tools for circuit design and simulation to optimize electronic designs.

- Conduct BOM comparisons and benchmarking, with analysis of commodity and currency exposure.

- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and maintain a robust supplier network for electronic devices, both active and passive parts.

- Prepare and deliver presentations effectively, leveraging proficiency in MS Office.

- Familiarity with SAP (MM module) for procurement processes.

- Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Automotive Industry, with a maximum of 20 years.

- Proficiency in costing and procurement of electronics components.

- Basic knowledge of electronic component selection, design, and testing.

- Experience in using software tools for circuit design and simulation.

- Strong negotiation skills and a well-established supplier network.

- Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office.

- Conversant with SAP (MM module).
