DGM-Sales (Agri inputs) at Pune (Transferable)
Client:
Our client is Conglomerate of Indian multi national giant, diversified in Agri-inputs, Animal feed, oil palm plantations and poultry.
Position is for their Agri-inputs business, having strong market share in plant growth promoters, soil conditioners and cotton herbicides.
Position offered: DGM-Sales (Agri Business & Animal feed)
Position based: Pune-Transferable.
Reporting to: Director
OBJECTIVE: Build platform for sustainable business growth.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To achieve the annual objectives – Sales.
- To allocate the annual budgets within the team based on the market potential.
- Motivating the team for better productivity and channel for increasing top line and reach.
- Effective inventory management – Depot, Channel level.
- To control the debtor / outstanding sales days.
- Identifying the market gaps / Distribution / Channel gaps.
- Appointing the right distributors / dealers.
- Guiding and Monitoring the Team in achieving their annual objectives.
- Effective utilization of resources such as Team, Distribution and Sales Promotion budgets.
- To demonstrate effective leadership skills in handling the team members and retaining them intact for longer periods.
- To have good market intelligence, trends and knowledge.
- Effective utilization of discounts.
- Controlling the stock movement / infiltrations at inter distributor / inter territories.
- To participate in campaigns and Filed Asst. review meets.
- To prepare the short and long term plans for the region.
- Identifying and preparing the future leaders from the team.
Requirements:
- Experience of 8-10 years in Agri Business and animal feed.
- Will be handling a regional role already.
- Preferred candidates from the Manage Institute (A reputed institute for Agribusiness Mgmt. Courses, in Hyderabad).
