Job Responsibilities: (a) Should have been a Permanent Commission officer with approx. 20 years of service and recently retired from Navy (last 1 or 2 years) (b) Experience in system integration and executing control system related projects and acceptance of electrical power generation machinery for Naval application. Experience should include tenures in design organisations like DND / WESEE / DMDE (Defence Machinery Development Establishment) and staff appointments at IHQ MoD(N). (c) Should have excellent knowledge of machinery Control System and electrical power generation equipment including preparation of detailed specifications, good understanding of requirements for naval application, scrutiny / review of design / drawings and very good ability to analyse contemporary technology. (d) Should continuously identify potential opportunities in the defence sector for expanding the defence product portfolio and liaise with NHQ, other naval organisations and also various organisation in Army for approval processes. (e) Experience in project management and should be capable of leading a team for monitoring & executing defence projects including on board installation. (f) Well versed with DPP / DPM and experience in shipbuilding projects is preferable (g) Good communication and liaison skills and should be able to set up a good rapport with IHQ MoD (Navy) ATVP, DMDE, other naval organisations and various Army organisations including AHQ. (h) Should maintain good liaison and relation building with DPSU shipyards for identifying and monitoring new opportunities. Education: M.Tech / B.Tech / B.E (Controls / Electrical / Electronics). Competencies: - Aptitude in design & development of control systems & electrical equipment for defence application. - Excellent project management skills and contract management skills. - Sound interpersonal skills. - Professional and personal integrity of the highest standard. - Preferably PMP certified
