Job Description :

Our focus is to identify great talent and hire in the field of PRODUCT ENGINEERING with hands on experience in following skills

1. Software development approach - Agile Technology (eg. Scrum)

2. Shell (eg. online, intranet, S&D portals)

3. Products (eg. MX, mCare, mCommerce, M2M, APIs, Security)

4. Overall experience in industries such as IT/ Telecommunications, Internet companies, technology start-ups and domains such as 3rd party enablers (APIs, bi-directional business models), security solutions, content optimization, M2M, NFC and device clients will be the right fit.

Key Techologies

- Java/J2EE stack

- open source development tools (PHP, mysql, linux, apache)

- mobile application development platforms (PhoneGap, Android, iOS etc.)

- enterprise middle-ware integrations (IBM webspehere, JBoss, weblogic etc.)

- database technologies (DB2, mysql, oracle

JOB Responsibilities :

1. Lead 1-2 scrum teams as scrum master with focus on developing innovation products and tools for world class experience

2. Influence internal stakeholders and build tight linkages with operating units

3. Create Innovation product roadmaps and provide comprehensive reporting on various stages of products / tools being developed

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

Lead 1-2 scrum teams as scrum master with focus on developing innovation products and tools for world class experience

- Act as scrum master for 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on guiding teams towards improving the speed and quality in development process

- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos

- Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog aligned with delivery priorities

- Maintain relevant metrics that help the team track the progress against delivery schedules

- Liaise between the developers and testers to foster between communication between various teams

- Act as project manager and take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and third parties

- Share expert domain knowledge with business and technology teams in 1-2 key areas of innovation. Stay at the cutting edge of their fields

- Review and evaluate industry trends, customer feedback, technological advancements and marketing requirement. Bring in the expert knowledge on evolution of key areas of innovation in coming areas and align Airtel strategy

Influence internal stakeholders and build tight linkages with operating units

- Link closely with operating product owners

- Influence internal stakeholders across from Marketing, IT, Networks and customer service in India & south Asia and Africa to drive innovation products

- Evangelize product innovation for short term and long term global strategy of organization across India & South Asia and Africa

- Embrace a start-up culture to drive agility, collaboration, passion for innovation

- Possess tenacity to build consensus within internal stakeholders and expedite agile product development

Create Innovation roadmaps, synergy funnel and provide comprehensive reporting on innovation

- Strategize the short term (H1) and long term (H2 / H3) innovation product roadmap

- Drive “synergy quotient” across India & South Asia and Africa

- Design and development of KPIs and MIS reporting for software development life cycle for innovation products
